We don't live in a cul-de-sac, but on the corner of an "L" shaped street. This gives us a great big corner lot, a little more street parking, but not too many drivers going by. It's three bedrooms with a great big loft for a play room upstairs. The kids know exactly what to do with their backyard, and don't seem to mind the crusty dead grass (thank you Texas drought) under their tender, young paws.
I have a music room right off the front hallway, and already have it filled with pianos and office furniture. And I guess it doesn't matter that our "two car" garage wouldn't fit two cars anyway, since Jasper will be gone so much anyway. He comes home to sleep and, if he's lucky, see his children. But at least he comes home happy, even if he IS dog tired. He's livin' the dream, folks! It just makes me realize how blessed we've been throughout our lives, especially with all these things coming together. It's nice. Very nice.

The playroom with the seller's stuff.
The living room view to the stairs, with their stuff. Ours doesn't look that nice yet.
The office/music room to be.
The living room from the backdoor, empty as was every other room in the house.
The dining/kitchen area, pre-stuff.
