I like tight shorts

This morning, as I was dressing Kai, I thought I would have to buy Kai 5T shorts already. "I just BOUGHT you 4T shorts two months ago!" Thankfully I checked the tag, and I'd grabbed Varick's 2T shorts the night before. Well, whatever--they kind of fit him. I'd like to get him out the door pretty fast, so just to be sure there would be no drama later, I asked Kai, "Do you mind wearing Varick's shorts, even though they're too small." To which Kai replied, "It's okay, Mom: I like tight shorts." Greeeeeat. I'm glad you don't mind, kid. Too bad you just weren't a child of the 80's then you'd REALLY feel at ease.
