Today Varick and I went out on a date. After hearing that Kai had partaken of donuts for a birthday at school, he decided he needed a donut. Some one on one time was necessary for me and Varick, so why not? Wal-Mart bakery, here we come.
We had a good time, just the two of us. I think we both needed to recharge with each other. He's been needing more snuggles lately, and I've been "too busy", as if THAT'S an excuse! So this is step one back onto the path of a great parent child relationship--and just 'cause.
And I needed to post this picture AGAIN! I think it's hilarious.
