Well, people have been asking us how packing is going, but since the Army will sweep through our house and pack things for us we've mostly been finishing up some projects around the house. Okay, so it's mostly Jasper: he's our Handyman around here. He's working on refinishing and then reupholstering an oak chair to match the desk he did last year. So purdy. That's me in the background of the chair finishing a book I borrowed from a friend about, what a year, two years ago? Thanks Sally. How Wide the Divide was a very enriching read.
Jasper had to cut out a pattern for the chair back and used the scrap pieces of poster board to make elephant noses. Here are the pictures from that too.
