Here are the pictures from our Trip to California to bless baby Eman. We had such a great time seeing family and friends and just spending some quality time with each other. It was short and sweet: just the way we like it! (We didn't have our camera at the actual blessing. Any help, Family?)

Who can resist half-naked kid pictures!? Here are the boys enjoying some warm sunshine in my mom's backyard in Cali. We're looking forward to doing the exact same thing in San Antonio all summer long. It's gonna be great!





Our hike up the trail behind the Palm Springs Museum. We didn't get very far, but we had fun until the wind started scaring Varick too much. I think Eman still has dust specks on his scalp from that one afternoon of whirling desert silt! That's actually the same hat, they just took turns wearing it throughout the hike.




Us, plus our dear friends David and Tina (and their kiddos) from Medical School. They treated us to an afternoon at the SD Wild Animal park.

This one reminds me of this picture Mom has of my Grandma Bambi one summer at a vanB reunion. She has a hat on in that pic, too. :)
